Meet Cathy

Cathy is a faith-filled lover of Jesus, a prophetic leader, people gatherer, community builder, and culture changer, with a mandate to bring the Kingdom of God to earth, as Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:10: “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

A visionary visual artist, Cathy paints in a contemporary realistic style, with works held by collectors in Australia, Africa, the USA, and Asia. Her art draws deeply from her African heritage, imagination, and prophetic dreams, touching hearts and inspiring meaningful reflection. She is committed to creating art that breathes life and hope, transforms culture, and encourages others.

Cathy is also an author, poet, speaker, and worshipper who longs to model a life of intimacy with Jesus, showing how the impossible becomes possible when we walk in our true identity in Him. She shares a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness through seasons of fear, failure, tragedy, loss, and recent illness.

Passionate about people, Cathy, together with her friend Sondy, hosts Creative Groups and runs retreats, where artists gather in community to connect, create, and encourage authentic growth and friendship. Her heart is to see others flourish in their relationship with Jesus, discover their God-given identity, and express their purpose through creativity. She believes in changing culture one person at a time, by hosting safe spaces where people can belong, be authentic, and find the freedom to positively impact their families and communities.

In 2015, Cathy published her first book, The Rhode to Zimkesalia, sharing part of her personal story. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, she has also lived in Kenya and South Africa before settling in Melbourne, Australia, where she now lives with her husband, David. They have four adult children and four grandchildren.
