"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint."
Waiting is not weakness.
It is a posture of trust.
The eagle does not exhaust itself striving against the wind. It surrenders to wait for the rising thermal, spreads its wings, and allows the unseen current to lift it higher.
In the same way, we are invited to walk with the Holy Spirit, not striving in our own strength, but to wait and catch the wind of the Spirit of God to carry us where He desires.
There is renewal in waiting.
There is strength in surrender.
There is freedom in waiting on Him.
